They open at 7pm so we got there at 6pm to be first in line, and we were.. We are 30 something adults and had other plans scheduled for the evening and wanted to make sure we were in and out and weren't stuck in a long line. At 7pm when they are "supposed" to open no one was being let in, at 8pm still no one was being let in. We gave up at 8:30 and went to the ticket booth to inquire about why 90 min past their opening time we were at the front of the line and still just standing there. We were informed by a rude teen girl working the ticket booth that they could open whenever they feel like it and we had to wait until they felt like letting people in, if not we can leave, but they don't give refunds and there was no manager to speak to. Seriously? The lack of professionalism and rudeness was astounding. So we left. We weren't canceling all our plans for the evening because this haunted house cant function properly. We planned accordingly, and they failed miserably. They take your money but provide ZERO service. Unacceptable. We go to a haunted house every year for Halloween and not once have we had a bad experience, until now. This was our first and ONLY time we will go The Frightmare Compound. These tickets are expensive and you don't even get to see the haunted house, do not waste your time or money.

I have been to ALMOST every haunted house in Denver and this is by far the Best! I gave City of the Dead 3 stars and 13th floor 5 stars this one was a solid 10/10 stars because of the awesome scenery and creative actors (the clowns used my name!) I cried but enjoyed every second of the fear. If the actors dont get you (which they will.) the scerery (Spoiler: quick sand, clowns, caves, etc.) will! Super impressed. I went on a weekday so we werent rused through by actors

Wait time was stupid! They rip you off by trying to get you to upgrade. They are only out to get your money. Wasn't even scary, I think half the crew went home in the last hour. Lame!!
