The Haunted Hoochie has incredible set design and effects. The main attraction is decent sized and filled with a variety of sets each meticulously designed. Bad Trip is a tightly themed smaller attraction with a unique concept design. Despite how visually amazing both attractions are the haunt still feels underwhelming due to the lackluster actors. The actors have little variety in both character and approach. This leads to the haunt becoming monotonous after the first few scenes. They also all essentially play the same character. They're all basically they vulgar raunchy villains youd likely find in a Rob Zombie movie like The Devils Rejects. This isnt inherently a bad thing but its overdone to such a degree here that a haunt with excellent set design ends up feeling trashy. The haunt also feels like a one trick pony in the sense that it relies solely on intensity and shock value to scare while neglecting tension building, creativity, and creepiness.

Out of the thousands I have been thru year after year. The Haunted Hoochie is very elaborate and designed well. Entertaining and exciting. Smiled the whole way thru although not scary for me it was the shock and awe factor of every little detail and idea behind everything. Actors were on point and never ever broke character.

The Haunted Hoochie is known for having movie-level props for their scenes, crude shock value, and total, constant, sensory bombardment. And they totally deliver on that. Expect extremely large crowds and very long waits of 2-4 hours. This is the place to spring for a fast pass, and even then, you may end up waiting an hour. For the best experience, go during an off day, or at the very earliest start of their season. Otherwise, you may be disappointed when, after waiting for hours, the haunt is ruined because everyone files through in a long line. Because of the cost and detail of the sets, they are usually recycled year to year, so leave a few years between visits to keep things fresh.

We live 2 1/2 hours away and we get there and get in line its moving fast n we get our tickets were like yeah this is moving right along, then out of the blue it just stops...air breaks set stood in this line to watch a fucked "freak show" and i ended up leaving i couldnt take standing in line for 4 hours after working all day and ontop the 2 1/2 hour drive time wasted and wont return

it only took 10 seconds for me to fall in love with this place! the BEST haunt i have EVER been to. the music, originality, scenes, and the gore is insane. you can tell that these people LIVE to scare the hell out of you.. and they do a damn good job. almost too good... a MUST SEE haunt, no matter what state you live in.

This was one of the best I've been to yet. It was loud, fast paced and just plain awesome. The noise, strobe lights and gun powder smell was awesome. I would definitely do it over and over.
