Interactive House was a BUST - 5 skulls to the Haunted House
I will start off by saying the actual haunted house at this place is one of the best I've been to in my life, and I have been to more than 60 haunted houses throughout 6 states. Jump scares and props were hands down some of the best I've encountered, and I am VERY particular. With that, I will say that the interactive house (Asylum) was by far the WORST experience. It is interactive so they give you instruction in the beginning, however it is not enough instruction, they tell you, you will be touch, true, they tell you, you can interact, true they tell you, you can make your own decisions which will change the outcome, not true!!! One of our group members was involved in the interaction and was given an item to hold onto and was instructed not to let it go. When our member refused, we were greeted with a SCREAMING security person as if we were trying to steal the item. We explained that we thought it was part of the "interaction" and were followed by security the rest of the way. As an adult it is VERY sad that these people who work for some of these houses have had probably 30 secs of training and it is probably - make sure you yell at all patrons because if you are called, they are probably doing something really bad.... With that said, I recommend at least going for the actual haunted house, but I DO NOT recommend the interactive asylum. People skills are important everywhere.
