As an avid haunt fan, after driving 90 minutes to go to Haunted Orchards, I left feeling disappointed and ripped off. First, it's very short. I walked the whole thing in less than 10 minutes. The entire haunt is outside. You walk past a handful of sets, but the overwhelming majority of the haunt is spent walking in a straight line down a path while high school kids in flannel shirts pop out at you and walk next to you. Also, this is in an apple orchard so be careful, there are apples on the ground and I stepped on one and twisted my ankle. I wasn't seriously injured but it seems unnecessarily dangerous. The ending is very abrupt and confusing. We didn't know if it was over or not and didn't know where to go when it was. The makeup seemed standard for haunts, but to be honest it was so dark most of the way that I couldn't really see it in detail. Nothing jumped out at me as being really good or really poor. There is a quick hayride that takes you to and from the attraction, but that is all it is. There are no actors or props to see. To sum it all up, it was too short, not scary at all, not much to look at, and just seemed thrown together with little thought put into it. They could use more actors too. I don't recommend this haunt, especially if you're driving a long way like I did.
